Purpose of this Role
As a Software Engineer for Coretex, you will be depended upon to help our team not only maintain our current product lines but help advance our technology so that we anticipate our customers’ needs and provide products that meet those needs. You will step right in and begin positively impacting businesses whether it is developing and maintaining our Coretex Drive platform, 360 platform or our Air-Trak platform. With the nature of our business and products, you will work collaboratively with our hardware and firmware team and be able to contribute to web, database, and mobile projects. Not only do we need your help on current products but we want your ideas and solutions to our customers’ needs. You do not need to be an expert in telematics or in any one language, but you do need to be that person that wants to figure out how to make things work.
The outcomes listed below describe the tasks the Software Engineer may be expected to carry out. This list is indicative of the role and is not exhaustive.
- Develop and maintain the 360 platform.
- Develop and maintain the Air-Trak platform.
- Help develop any new product or platform the company decides on doing.
- Assist with deployment of software environments.
- Building and deploying software.
- Work with the team lead and project manager to manage timeframes and deliverable planning.
- Work with the solution architect to produce and understand system architecture.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science or another related discipline or equivalent years’ experience.
2+ years experience in a similar role.
