May 27, 2019

On Friday evening, Selwyn Pellett, CEO of Coretex, presented the award for Hi-Tech Emerging Company of the Year to PredictHQ at the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards in Auckland.

Predict HQ is an event data service that empowers their users to build smarter products and strategies. Users can tap into their API of millions of verified and ranked events, aggregated from hundreds of data sources, and is the single, global source of truth about events. In November they raised $15m in a funding round after signing Uber, Domino’s and Booking.com as some of their first customers.

PredictHQ also picked up 2 other awards on Friday – the Duncan Cotterill Most Innovative Hi-Tech Software Solution Award and the Kiwibank Most Innovative Hi-Tech Services Award, making them the big winner of the night.

Coretex is a proud sponsor of the New Zealand Hi-Tech Awards, having supported the Awards since 1995. The Awards celebrate truly inspiring people and companies that are taking New Zealand innovation to the world stage. Going global from New Zealand is not for the faint hearted, however seeing companies like PredictHQ (located in Auckland and San Francisco) achieving great success both here and abroad is inspiring for the tech market in New Zealand.

At Coretex it’s our mission to make a safer, greener and more productive world through technology, and it’s inspiring to see so many companies in the New Zealand Tech Sector, doing their part to better the world we live in too.
